Twin Sails - The New Bridge For Poole

In 2002 leading consulting engineers Gifford and Partners , with mechanical engineers Bennetts Associates and architects Wilkinson Eyre - designers of the award winning and world class 'Blinking Eye' bridge in Gateshead - were appointed by us as the design team for Poole's new bridge.

The successful partnership came up with the eye-catching design which was soon to be universally acclaimed as "Twin Sails", an inspiring and iconic scheme that would give Poole a new statement skyline.
