POOLE POTTERY PROPOSALS PUBLIC MEETING

Poole residents will have the chance to find out more about the proposed Poole Pottery development at a public meeting on Wednesday 24 November 1999.

The Borough of Poole together with local residents groups are holding a meeting to explain the background to the re-development proposals.

Officers will be available during the meeting to discuss the planning and transport issues connected with the application and answer any questions raised.

Peter Watson, Head of Planning Design and Control Services, said; "As well as having Officers on hand to answer questions, plans showing the development proposals will be on display during the meeting. This is a chance for local people to find out more about this important development in well loved area of Poole. We hope as many people as possible come along and have their questions answered".

All comments and feedback will be reported to the Planning Committee for their consideration. Due to the scale of the development and the anticipated public interest, it is likely that a special Committee meeting will be held when the consultation is complete and a thorough assessment of the scheme and its consequences has been done.

Plans showing the re-development are also available for anyone to view at the Council's Planning Office, Civic Centre (8.30am-5.15pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am-4.45pm Friday).

The meeting will take place in the Conference Room, Civic Centre, Poole at 7.00pm. For further information, please contact Gian Bendinelli on tel: (01202) 633334.
