Branksome Dene Community Room

The Branksome Dene Community Room is situated on Poole's beautiful coastline overlooking Branksome Dene Chine beach and is an ideal venue for family parties, wedding receptions, community functions and corporate meetings. The patio area can also be used to barbecue or simply for sitting and enjoying the glorious views. There is seating capacity for 50 people indoors with a total capacity for up to 80 when using the patio area.

 Discounted Tariff

We provide a discounted tariff for charities, associations and community groups. The discount applies to the principal hire charge; such costs as cleaning and evening security are not discounted. Charities, associations and community groups are required to register in order to be eligible for the discounted price. 

Facilities

The facilities provided are basic and consist of a range of plastic garden furniture (10 tables & 50 chairs) which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. There is also a hot water dispenser which can be used for making hot beverages. It is recommended that you visit the venue to ascertain its suitability for your event.

Catering

Self catering and barbecues are permitted however should you not wish to cater for your function you can organise a buffet to be delivered from Country Park Catering. For details and menu options please contact Country Catering on 01202 261023.

Car Parking

There is sufficient parking for up to 150 cars in the car park which operates on the pay and display scheme all year round. Please note there is no provision for coach parking at the Branksome Dene Chine car park however a 20/30 seater coach can off-load and pick up at the car park.

Directions

The Community Road is located at the Branksome Dene Chine car park.  To access the Room from Poole you turn into Pinewood Road (off Westminster Road), just after the Branksome Chine Cafe.  Take the next turning on the right after Branksome Towers, sign posted on 'white on brown' boards to Branksome Chine beach. How to book the Branksome Dene Community Room

This is a very popular venue especially during the summer months and it is recommended you book early to avoid disappointment. The Room can be booked up to one year in advance of your event.

• Firstly you should telephone Leisure Services on 01202 708181 to check availability for the dates you require the Room.
• You are then required to complete a booking form having read the terms and conditions of hire and post it or email to the address below.
