Leisure Services
In Leisure Services we aim to help people improve their quality of life and well-being in Poole by:
- Clean, green and safe open spaces, including parks, nature reserves, play grounds and allotments.
- Clean and safe beaches with good facilities and measures to protect the coast from erosion.
- Recreation and sporting facilities and opportunities to enable people to be active and to live healthy lifestyles, including Dolphin, Rossmore and Ashdown Leisure Centres and the Hamworthy Outdoor Education Centre.
- Bereavement services that are sensitive and compassionate, including Poole Crematorium and Poole, Parkstone, Branksome and Broadstone Cemeteries.
