Poole is home to one of Britain's best beaches – Sandbanks. It has been awarded 26 prestigious International Blue Flags for achieving the highest standards of cleanliness, more than any other beach in the UK.
Over three miles of golden sands offer clean clear waters, stunning views, waterside restaurants, café bars and fun for all the family.
Enjoy yourself and stay safe relaxing on Poole’s beaches.

Filming and Photography on Poole's Beaches
Film and photographic companies can contact the Council via firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be able to provide assistance, advise on locations and let you know whether the beach you wish to use is available; we run a number of events on them throughout the year.
Film and photographic companies will need to gain prior approval and possibly provide public liability insurance certificates if:
- filming/photography requires a large amount of equipment that may cause disruption or obstruction to beach users.
- a large crew is involved, or if crowds are needed for filming/photography.
- any activity being filmed/photographed that may affect the safety or cause disturbance to beach users.
