Election of a Councillor for the Branksome East Ward
An Election is to be held for a Councillor for the Branksome East Ward.
Forms of nomination for the Borough Election may be obtained at Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU during normal office hours on any day after the date of this notice but no later than NOON on Thursday, 17th April 2008.
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 15th May 2008.
Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU by 5pm on Tuesday, 29th April 2008.
Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU by 5pm on Wednesday, 7th May 2008.
Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of physical incapacity, where that physical incapacity occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, 7th May 2008, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU by 5pm on Thursday, 15th May 2008.
