Household Collections - COAST Project

Working in the Community, enriching lives.

COAST supports people with a disability work as volunteers helping to collect household items. These items are then sold by Lewis Manning Cancer Trust to raise funds for the charity’s work.

  • A small team goes out in a collection vehicle to peoples’ homes to remove unwanted items. These items are then sold in Lewis Manning's retail outlets

BENEFITS AND OPPORTUNITIES

  • Providing a useful service to members of the public

  • Help to progress with further employment aspirations (paid or voluntary)
