Arts, Health And Disability
A core area of our Arts Development work in partnership with Adult Social Care and Wellbeing is developing arts projects and opportunities for disabled people, older people, and people with mental health needs.
Disability Arts, Arts and Disability
Disability Arts is art made by disabled people which reflects the experience of being disabled.
The Disability Arts movement regards the experience of disability, not as an impediment, but as an appropriate and fruitful subject for artistic work.
Arts and Disability work provides disabled people with the opportunity to develop an appreciation of and an involvement in the arts.
