Life away from Council

Graham retired from the Royal Marines in 1982 and moved to Broadstone with his wife Susan, where they ran the health food shop for 20 years. Graham has 3 daughters, 2 sons and 16 grandchildren and more on the way! He was first elected to represent Broadstone in 1990.

Challenges

Getting a better deal for Poole pensioners with improved support from the Government Improving our public transport system with better bus routes at affordable prices To have a Government led recycling scheme that is cost effective and environmentally friendly

Favourites

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 101 Dalmatians (with the grandchildren)

Interests

Walking, trips to Sandbanks, Whitecliff and the Quay with the family

I became a Councillor as I decided it was time for a change. We have to try and persuade Government that the grant Poole receives is inadequate to maintain the standard of services our residents expect.
