What's On
We have a summer programme for members this August that runs alongside the Borough's overall programme of activities for young people 13 to 19 years old. You can contact us to find out about the activities during the summer and beyond.
August
Tuesdays 7.00pm to 9.30pm
- Open club for young people aged 13 to 19 years. A friendly environment to meet friends and participate in the activities of your choice.
Wednesdays 7.30pm to 10.00pm
- Open club for young people aged 16 years and over. You can come along for an affordable time out, play sports in the court or chill out with your friends.
Thursdays
- 2.00pm to 4.00pm: free-style sports for young people aged 13 years and over in the newly-built sports cage, multi-use games area. You can meet our resident coach and get some tips on all sorts of sports.
- 7.00pm to 8.00pm: A taster session of kick-boxing is available to members-only.
- 7.00pm to 9.30pm: Our Youth Workers come to you, out and about on the streets so you can enjoy the summer evenings, sharing the activities and events that you can get involved in.
Day-time opportunities
There are also a number of one-off activities during the day:
- 8 August: Arts Day; 10.00am to 4.00pm
- 13 August: Sports Day; 11.00am to 3.00pm
The Centre closes from 18 August, and re-opens in the first week of September.
September
We have a new and dynamic programme identified by young people, to suit your differing needs.
Tuesdays: Project Night for School Year 9 and Over; 7.00pm to 9.30pm
- Projects that are designed by you for your accreditation. This could be anything from organising a football team to learning life skills. These projects are designed by young people and change on a termly basis.
Wednesdays:
- Up 4 It Club for School Years 6 and 7; 4.30pm to 6.30pm
You can take part in arts, crafts and sporting activities.
- 'Jus 4 U!' for School Year 8 only; 7.00pm to 9.30pm
Sometimes young people want a club just for their age group, a fun, safe place for you to meet up and explore the activities you want to do.
Thursdays: Open Night; 7.00pm to 9.30pm
- If you are a young person aged 13 to 19 years, just come along to meet your friends and make new ones, take part in activities, or chill out in your space.
Fridays: Autumn/Winter
Alternative Fridays for alternative activities; 7.30pm to 10.00pm
Disco Nights
There are disco nights for School Year 8 and over young people:

Band / Gig Nights
You can take part in our band or gig nights. Contact us to book your slot if you are ready to rock:

Focus on Football
Focus on Football tournaments are available to seniors and juniors, with the dates and venue to be confirmed.
