The excellent news that the Twin Sails Bridge has received the green light for a £10 million funding package from the South West Regional Development Agency has brought the New Year in with a bang.

This is a most welcome boost for Poole and the project will create much needed employment at a time when it will most benefit the town. After so many years of planning, the news has been greeted with great enthusiasm by all those involved with negotiations.
